Wireframes and UX Prototypes

Turn rough ideas into a Prototype your whole team will buy into

SHYINE, PLLC is a human-centred prototyping studio home in Salt Lake City at 983 S 1000 E, serving teams across the United States. Before a single line of production code is written, we map your product flow, test the interactions, and shape the screens that make the rest of the build obvious. Every decision about layout, labelling and sequence is made here, on a wireframe, where it is cheap to change and easy to share. A great product starts as a desk covered in wireframes — that desk is where we work, and it is the desk we build on your behalf.

The flow of a task

Five ways we prototype your product

Every engagement moves through repeatable craft. Each row below is one discipline our team applies on the desk, tuned to the point where a concept becomes a thing people can hold, click, and disagree with productively. You do not need a finished master plan to begin; you need a flow that can be seen and a small set of honest questions to answer together.

01

Wireframe Systems

We lay the structural skeleton first. Lo-fi greyscale frames strip away colour so that only layout, hierarchy, and the path a person walks remain. We draft the full screen plan in low fidelity so stakeholders judge the shape of the flow, not the shine of a fill. Each screen is drawn to a shared grid with marked margins, and every block is labelled so that the meaning of a region is never a guess. This system becomes the single shared map your builders, writers, and reviewers all point to.

Interactive Prototypes

Static frames become clickable journeys. Transitions, states, empty screens, error and success moments are wired together so a product feels real before it is real. Teams walk their own roadmap and spot broken journeys while the change is still cheap to make. Links are tuned for the pace of a real hand on a phone or mouse on a desktop, and visual feedback answers every tap. When a stakeholder asks what happens next, the answer is a click away rather than a spoken paragraph.

Usability Test Cycles

We watch real people try the prototype and we log where they pause, hesitate, or turn away. Short focused cycles produce an evidence trail of what to keep and what to cut, feeding decisions with observed behaviour rather than guesswork around a table. A handful of well-chosen participants in each round is enough to expose the most common stumbles. By the end of the cycle you carry a ranked list of fixes with reasons, so the build list stops being a matter of personal opinion.

Design System Foundations

Buttons, fields, toggles and type live in one shared sheet. By capturing the primitives once, we keep future screens consistent without repeated debate. The system becomes a quiet partner that answers size, spacing and colour questions for everyone on the team. Spacing rules, rounded corners, focus states and empty-state phrasing are all recorded in plain form. When a new screen is needed later, the pattern is already agreed, so the only question left is content.

Accessibility Reviews

Contrast, focus order, tap size and readable labels are checked against recognised standards. We treat inclusive design as a baseline, not an afterthought, because a flow that works for widely varied hands and eyes is one that works for almost everyone else too. Screen-reader order is walked aloud, keyboard paths are verified end to end, and colour is never the only signal behind a message. The review closes with a short written report your team can pass straight to quality checks.

3test rounds

These disciplines do not arrive as a fixed menu; they are combined to fit the risk and size of your own build. A young product may need only wireframes and a testing round, while a mature system might ask for a full foundation and an accessibility pass. Talk to the studio to see which set makes sense this quarter, and how many weeks your schedule allows.

Every project on the desk runs by the same ethical habit: we draw openly, we test honestly, and we hand over work that another team can build without a mystery step. From the first discovery call to the final acceptance replay, SHYINE, PLLC keeps every decision visible, every timeline named, and every invoice free of a surprise line. That is what prototyping means for us in practice, and it is the benchmark we measure each finished flow, each usability report, and each handoff file against before it leaves the studio for your own screen.

A studio manifesto

SHYINE believes the clearest products are not the ones argued about the longest — they are the ones proven early on a desk of wireframes, tested with real hands, and refined before a single expensive build decision locks the path.

We turn uncertainty into prototypes and prototypes into confidence, from our studio at 983 S 1000 E in Salt Lake City to teams throughout the United States and beyond. Our work lives in the Computer Systems Design and Related Services industry, sitting at the boundary where technical systems meet the people who must actually use them.

The measure of our success is simple: a flow that survives real use, a handoff your developers accept without rewriting, and a product your customers describe as obvious rather than clever. That is the whole ambition of the studio, and it shapes every frame we draw.

Bring your idea to the desk

Whether you hold a napkin sketch or a finished spec, a walk-in wireframe meeting turns your next product from an abstract leap into a step you can see. You leave the session with a mapped flow, a shared vocabulary, and a clear sense of what to build first. Reach the studio by phone at +14128305231, by email at direct@shyine.lol, or through the contact form, and together we find the fastest honest route from your idea to a prototype your whole team trusts.
